I’m going camping, what should I buy? I hear this question often from people interested in pursuing outdoor activities. So I put together a list of my favorite equipment and clothes that I use when out in the wild.
If I have it listed on this site, you can be rest assured I’ve put it through the ringer. I’ll pay an extra couple bucks and proudly buy American when I can. Not just out of patriotism, but Americans build excellent quality. I like to buy from great companies that stand behind their product.
We designed the Made in Michigan logo for Michigan producers to proudly display their origin. The flag signifies USA, two stars represent two peninsulas/one state and the five stripes for the five Great Lakes.
Mountain Light Hikers on autumn adventures
Smoked salmon cooked on my Campfire Grill
Benchmade Grizzly cutting through strings
These are a few of my favorite things...
I know, not quite as poetic as Julie Andrews. But if you are going on an adventure, whiskers on kittens and brown paper packages won't do you much good. Nope, you'll need stuff that's been tested and you can depend on.
If it's on my Favorite List then it means it's good - really good, but probably not cheap. I'm highlighting quality above all else. So if you see a smoking deal this Thanksgiving weekend, be sure to gobble it up.
